Purpose-driven & Impact-Focused
Earth Tribe is a South African youth-led social enterprise committed to alleviating poverty, promoting environmental sustainability, and building resilient communities through practical, community-driven solutions. Founded by environmental advocate and social entrepreneur Zipho Sithebe, Earth Tribe believes that sustainable development begins by empowering people with the knowledge, skills, and resources to improve their own lives while protecting the natural environment.
Our work is guided by the simple principle that communities should not only receive assistance—they should be equipped to become self-sufficient. Through climate-smart agriculture, environmental education, sustainable food production, and community capacity building, Earth Tribe enables vulnerable communities to take ownership of their own development.
Operating from Guinea Fowl Valley Estate in Glen Austin, Midrand, a semi-rural farming community, Earth Tribe is uniquely positioned to develop and demonstrate sustainable agricultural practices before implementing them in communities throughout South Africa.
Despite operating with limited financial resources, Earth Tribe has continued to deliver meaningful community projects through volunteerism, strategic partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to social impact.
